Designating a CxA

Does the CxAThe commissioning authority (CxA) is the individual designated to organize, lead, and review the completion of commissioning process activities. The CxA facilitates communication among the owner, designer, and contractor to ensure that complex systems are installed and function in accordance with the owner's project requirements. have to be designated before 50% CDs in LEED for Schools 2.2 also?

Elizabeth, for the prerequisite EAp1 the CxAThe commissioning authority (CxA) is the individual designated to organize, lead, and review the completion of commissioning process activities. The CxA facilitates communication among the owner, designer, and contractor to ensure that complex systems are installed and function in accordance with the owner's project requirements. does not have to be desingated before 50% CDs in either case. Perhaps you are thinking of EAc3? I assume both credits are basically the same in LEED for Schools v2 but you could check the credit requirements.
