Finding Compliant Products

Use this guide to find products that are compliant with LEED-EBOM IEQc3.3 sustainability criteria.

The following information is grouped under major product use classifications. Under each classification is a list of applicable Standards, a description of products covered by that standard, and a link to help locate compliant products.

General Purpose Cleaning & Degreasing Products

Green Seal GS-37

Products used for routine cleaning of hard surfaces, including impervious flooring materials, such as concrete, stone surfaces, or tile. It does not include cleaners intended primarily for the removal of rust, mineral deposits, or odors. It does not include products intended primarily to strip, polish, or wax floors; cleaners intended primarily for cleaning dishes, laundry, toilets, restrooms, glass, carpets, upholstery, wood, or polished surfaces; or biological cleaners. Other cleaners may be included in this category if they meet the requirements and are marketed as general purpose cleaners. Another term used for these cleaners may be multi-surface cleaners.
