If you're not completing quality LEED documentation, you're going through extra reviews, which means extra time and money, and possibly losing credits, LEED certification levels, or even your whole LEED certification.

Understanding how to complete quality documentation is key to success with LEED, and it's not hard. In this CEU course, we've boiled it down to the most important tips, with the help of input from LEED reviewers who work at Green Business Certification Inc.

In this course you’ll hear a LEED reviewer respond to some of the most frequently asked questions about LEED documentation, including:

  • How does the LEED review process work behind the scenes and who are the reviewers?
  • When is it appropriate to contact GBCI and what should I expect in response?
  • What are some tips for submitting high-quality documentation and what mistakes should I avoid?
  • What resources will help me ensure that the project complies with the latest LEED requirements?

This course also covers “generalist” LEED credit tips and covers the most common mistakes seen on project information forms, Location, Sites, Process, Water, Innovation, and other topics, some of which span multiple credits and credit categories. Some tips are specific to LEED BD&C, but most are relevant for all LEED rating systems.

The course consists of the materials below:

  • Two videos
  • Two handouts
  • A quiz to earn 0.5 CE hours.
