assistance for overseas projects
Dealing with overseas projects I have a lot of unusual situations that don't line up perfectly with LEED MPRs and credits. Is there a suitable forum or even perhaps a dedicated team at GBCI? I imagine overseas practitioners like myself have more queries than typical LEED professionals and I dont' want to continue to post numerous queries that others will find completely irrelevant.

LEED EBOM: India
Is there any guidance for doing a LEED: EBOMEBOM is an acronym for Existing Buildings: Operations & Maintenance, one of the LEED 2009 rating sytems. project in India?
Has there been any attempt in doing such a project?
We are thinking of doing a project there, but have explored the Indian Green Building Council, but have seen only projects that relate to NC, Core and Shell, and homes, but none in operations.
Any guidance would be much appreciated.
Thanks!
For a list of projects in India, on the USGBC site you can check the Registered Projects directory at:
http://www.usgbc.org/LEED/Project/RegisteredProjectList.aspx
Searching just by country abbreviation "in" in the Country field lists about 85 registered projects, of which 20 or so are EB. In the Certified Projects directory, you'll only see a handful of EB projects, but you could start your research from those two lists.
Thanks David, this will be helpful!
We are working on LEED EBOMEBOM is an acronym for Existing Buildings: Operations & Maintenance, one of the LEED 2009 rating sytems. projects in India. The largest real estate Group DLF we are supporting for registration of LEED EBOM on pan India basis. We are currently doing 17 DLF buildings of DLF group and very soon you will see that most of DLF buildings are LEED certified from USGBC. We can assist you for LEED EBOM certification of your buildings. sanjay vashishtha firstgreen consulting pvt limited. sanjayv@firstgreenconsulting.in 9899295854
LEED international roundtable
Melissa, you probably already know about the LEED international roundtable, but in case not there's a link to it. USGBC has been putting a real focus into making LEED more accessible for international projects, in a variety of ways (like translating LEED metrics into SI units, as one example).
You may have noticed there is a very strong contingent of people doing international projects on the forums here. So I would suggest you keep your questions coming (and add your experiences). Sound okay?
Hello,
Does this means that plans can now be submitted in SI units?
Thanks!
