I am curious how folks have been using the "Messages" feature of LEED online.  Since all messages go to the entire team, including the certifier, the feature does not strike me as a "working" tool.  Am I missing something?  Is there some benefit to including the certifier on all team communications?

Using messages feature of LEED Online v3

Hi, I admit I haven't used this feature, but your question prompted me to take a look at it. Are you sure that the certifying body is cc'd on all messages? That isn't immediately apparent based on the interface, but if it is true, it seems like a breach of "netiquette" and should be more transparent.

It also does seem odd that you can't delete team members from messages. The interface makes it look like you can, but it doesn't seem to work this way.

Seems to me like this might be a useful place to have a repository of project-specific messages, but I would personally hesitate to use it unless the questions you raise are addressed.

In LOL version 2 we were advised that reviewers would not read those messages; they were being provided for communication between members of the design team only. I'd hesitate to use them in v3 for any communication with the reviewers unless we're told otherwise.
